Whether you are looking for project management/leadership training, or merely for an idea to help out our community, ABC can assist you. We are not a one-size-fits-all organization; we will work with you or your organization in the capacity that best fits your unique needs.

What ABC Can Do For You:
  • Provide training, data, and tools to you and/or your organization
  • Assist you in researching, creating, & testing long-term solutions
  • Supply needed media attention to you and/or your organization
  • Provide data of county improvement and on how your organization helped
  • Network you to other like-minded individuals
  • Supply a sense of community belonging to your effort
  • Celebrate your success at our annual Community Building Day
How You Can Get Involved:

ABC encourages individuals, groups, organizations and policy-makers to come together to explore community issues and seek solutions. This can be done by reviewing the goals and action areas listed below and then by acting in one or more of the following ways.

Form a Discussion Group

Gather friends, neighbors, and organizations to discuss an action area. You can gather a group to discuss the community goals, review data, explore solutions, increase awareness, promote involvement, and advocate for change. These groups may be as formal or informal that as you like. Please notify ABC before your discussion group meets.

Adopt an Action Area

Choose an action area and decide what you, your business, organization, school or group can do to make a difference and then report your plan to ABC. Adopting an action area is an easy way for families or groups to contribute to the community in simple, yet very valuable ways. Please contact ABC to discuss your ideas.

Quality of Life Investments

If you or your organization are interested in making a long-term, well-thought-out effort regarding an action area, you may be interested in a Quality of Life Investment. Investments are voluntary, formal agreements between ABC and individuals, groups, organizations, and/or policy-makers to work together to measurably improve a community goal or action area. After talking to ABC, fill out ABC’s simple investment form so we can endorse your affiliation.

Community Goals and Action Areas

ABC’s goals are issues that Adams County residents say matter the most. Action areas are areas that need to be improved upon in order to reach our goals and that have measurable results. These goals and action areas have been identified and chosen with input from over 100 citizens. They serve as reminders and rallying points for community-minded individuals, groups, policy-makers, and organizations to focus efforts to make a measurable difference.
