Events/Trainings

Logic Model & Outcomes Measurement Trainings

Are you looking for ways to make your organization better known, either with funders or the public?  Maybe you just need a little assistance sorting through program (re)development.  Having a well thought-out, written plan will help accomplish either of these tasks.  Alliance for Building Community & United Way of Adams County offer 2 one-day trainings that will help you dedicate time to organizing and mapping your organization's programs so that funders & the public have a clearer understanding of your operations. (Trainings are offered in winter & summer.)

Logic Model
A Logic Model will clearly identify the pieces of your organization's "puzzle": the key players, programs/activities, outcomes, etc., providing a visual overview of your organization that allows both funders & the public the opportunity to better understand your organization.  In turn, funders & the public will know where their money is being used and be aware of volunteer opportunities.

Outcomes Measurement Training
Outcomes Measurements will explain to funders & the public how you measure the success of your programs.   You will have the opportunity to define what success means to your organization, identify the tools needed to measure that success, examples of how to "show & tell" the impact of your programs' success, and identify who is responsible for each outcome.
